Rebelieving, as we practice it, uses Theta techniques to, with the clients permission, adjust belief patterns from what is limiting to what they would like, e.g., “I am powerless” to “I am powerful.”
Here is an example where an Administrative Assistant, watching their boss’s life change after visiting us, decided to experiment for herself. First, I want to say she is still with the firm .
The issue quickly coalesced into “I’m not heard at work. I feel invisible”. This lead to a conclusion of not being valued. Clearly this was not true as I had heard the boss praise this person in several specific ways. I didn’t share this information as it was confidential, and also, this situation wasn’t about information, but about a limiting belief.
After a bit of discussion, it emerged that life with a step dad had fostered a series of limiting beliefs underlying not being heard. Since this work is not about Psychology and psychological approaches, we moved to naming the limiting beliefs, specifically around personal power, safety, forgiveness, approval, self love, boundaries. A lot!
We worked to Rebelieve into:
-I am Powerful
-I am Safe
-All is well in my world
-I unconditionally love and approve of myself
-I easily and gracefully forgive myself and others
-I am first.
These beliefs supported on the job behavior with much less energy and anxiety on the client’s part. The limitation was not about skill, but about the feelings and amount of energy needed to deliver the results.
So, the boss did not notice anything other than the usual productive behavior. The client delivered this valued behavior with much more comfort without self questioning.
